Alternate take: Switch 2 owners are an ideal demographic if you need someone that will pay money for the same game over and over again ad infinitum.

The game has already sold millions before Switch release, and was the best selling game (not counting gamepass) for few months when it was released.

That being said, I have no actual proof that those people weren't Switch 2 owners who just bought it on other platform because it wasn't out on Switch 2 yet.

Yes, but don't we all buy games over and over again? But also, there's probably a decently sized loyal Nintendo group who are seeing some of these old games for the first time.

Or maybe because it’s a really good game…

The point is that they chose physicsl instead of digital.

Means absolutely nothing without the sale number. Anyone can sell out by shipping the bare minimum.

The remaster was shit in my opinion in any case.

So many new bugs on top of the old ones

I’m not sure there’s enough there to suggest it’s because it’s a physical release. The game sold well on all fronts. But the fact it is a physical release and entirely on the cart does score free points.

Wtf, an sd card ? Considered a good old physical game support ? What about your saves ?

I don't thing you could argue a Nintendo cares about you.

I don’t think anyone could argue that any profit-driven corporation cares about you, either. Even healthcare is for-profit in America and they’ll bankrupt you and/or let you die.
