The thing is, when they have their hands on them they are restraining them, so they have the target under control.

They could have tazered them before or during this point in time in order to subdue them.

So the only reason to have these gloves is to add unnecessary additional suffering.

Ergo, these are a torture device.

I could have my hands all over you, with no restraint in sight. Ergo, this is a pleasure device.

That's shocking!

That'll stop those school shooters

Probably not. That would require police to enter the building to use them.

Even when they enter the building they still don't do anything, but these gloves will totally solve that problem. I mean, It's not like they are going to use them on small children... Right?

Stop peacefully protesting!

The only consolation is it is virtually guaranteed these are extremely poorly engineered, and the people using them are incompetent, untrained idiots. There will be plenty of friendly fire, even if we never hear about it.

As someone who has known the type of men that join terrorist groups like ice, I guarantee you that the first thing these gloves will be used for is a game of "ha ha shocked your cock f@##ot!" that is ongoing for the entire time they have these gloves.

Of course they will also use them to torture literally every person they touch on the streets. That is a given.

Possible to design gloves that send the shock back to the perpretrator? In a sort of closed circuit way, if the victim grabs on to a part of the perps exposed skin?

Come to think of it, seems easy enough to defeat with an allover sleeve.
