I am not a fan of Plovers but my goodness their chicks are stunning. I have three roaming around my place and one has to be careful to not drive over them as yes they're unaware of how to cross a road and yes the parents are somewhat dumb.
Well this morning as I left a parent raised up and spread its wings, and boop the three chicks emerged and moved away a little bit. This was just about in the middle of the road of course when there's heaps of grass right there either side of them. And I mean two vacant blocks on one side and a playground on the other. But no, let's camp in the middle of the road.
I know that they're animals and don't have the same concept of roads and cars as myself, but some awareness should've sunk in by now surely. I'm also surprised and happy that the chicks are still around as the parents let them wander very far, and there's plenty of predators around.
Ok a funny tale. I ordered a rear window sticker for the Jag. I requested "It's later than you think".
Upon opening the pack I noticed that there were two rolled up and I didn't order two. I unrolled the first one and it read "It's larger than you think" and I wasn't pleased.
Thank goodness somebody had realised a mistake and the second one was correct.
I have the opportunity to work all weekend and the money would be good. I'm not going to work all weekend and my warm toasty bed will be great.
Had someone at work cut their finger pretty deep. Somehow got their finger close to a blade inside a machine. 10 years working at this place and never seen someone manage that.
Oh well, first aider to the rescue... shit that's me.

Well I'm sure they're going to good homes. I've honestly adored beagles since a young age. I'm not even sure if I've ever met one thinking about it.
