Waiting to be unloaded again, what fun. Massive traffic jam on the Logan motorway heading east in the opposite direction to me thankfully. Heard a few sirens earlier from our yard which is right next to the motorway. Doesn't seem like a good thing.
Anyway I cancelled my Starlink internet yesterday, it's the smaller Roam one as there was a big surcharge for the full sized one. I've had it a fair few months but I'm sick of it dropping out. It can do that a few times during a movie. Must admit I have trees around which doesn't help. And when it pisses down it drops out more than it drops in.
I've now got a modem and Sim card. Signed up with Belong. Watched something last night and it didn't drop out once. There's no NBN going past my place currently. The street behind me has it and I've read that you can access it through your neighbours yard. You hopefully ask nicely and get permission. It's currently a bare block so I could look into that. I daresay I won't.
Also Starlink started increasing their prices so I'll be saving a little bit ($20) per month now with an extra 60 GB. ( Half price too for the first 2 months ) The Starlink was 100 GB so I had to be watchful which isn't great.
Currently near Ipswich ( New Chum, who knew that was a place ? ) then to Rocklea. Once again good to be out of the workshop. Having been a contractor and a serviceman most of my working life means that turning up to the same place all the time gets a bit crap in ways.
Anyway I'm winning millions on Lotto tonight after a few recent false flags so I won't have to talk to you pleasants after today. Cheers ;)
Up to now I have bought two bottles of bubbly and three of spirits. The first bottle got consumed when I celebrated another thing last October. The other drinks went too so I'm just going to buy a bottle on that great day. Cheers, can't be long now. Surely !
Your two options are too easy. A fire and a stake are more appropriate. And if that's too barbaric maybe slowly lowered into a vat of acid. Just a couple of thoughts that are suitable.
On Friday I was supposed to pick up some free solar panels on my way home. The deal was that he would send me his address just before I left work. I reminded him at that time but still got no address. Yesterday the same thing happened with a different bloke, however this time he replied to say he had given them to another person. People are strange.
Anyway it's damn cold and leaving the sanctuary of my cosy slumber cocoon was mighty difficult, but here I am. I think it's about -30
Just went to Pinkenba to deliver some brackets. ( Roughly an hours drive with stationary traffic on the Gateway motorway ) Faffed around signing in then waiting about ten minutes for the bloke to come and grab the stuff. Turns out the items required painting so now I'm around the corner from work waiting for a kebab, yum. Not a terrible Monday morning.
Was supposed to work today. Getting out of bed yesterday was very difficult. Today, well let's just say it was impossible. Just getting up now as opposed to 5 hours ago. Feels pleasant.
Been feeling crap all week with some kind of mild cold thing so stuff it.
Uuuuurrrggghhhh. Working again today. Put my hand up fur tomorrow too but really not too sure I'll make it. This just isn't fun. On a positive note, on Fridays we officially finish at 12 and overtime is available. Well at 11:40 an urgent delivery was needed so I got back at about 12:45. I got talking to my direct boss and that lasted till 2 pm. Can't really complain about that.
I had signed up to pick up some free solar panels on my way home. We had agreed that he would send me his address at noon. Noon came and no address, messaged to say I'd be a bit later. Ad is showing "pending", still no address. Meh.
Sometimes I get out and about delivering and picking up stuff which certainly has its moments but it's great for a change and getting out of the workshop.
Well anyway I was talking with a manager at an engineering company yesterday and he bought up politics which he's fine doing. I'm not much into it all to be honest. I admit that I read lots about the orange bloke in America and wonder with disbelief how he got where he is. I got a taste of that when this manager told me that in order to stick it to the politicians, he's thinking of voting for Pauline. People have a right to vote for whoever they want and that's none of my business, it was just the realisation of how certain types end up in power.
Also to TRK, it turns out that there is a growing faction of Beanie enthusiasts, so you might want to tone down your vilification regarding the appreciators of head warmers.

Is there some kind of fine for littering/dumping ?
"International". Cheers from Australia.
Or temp toilets.

I'm not even going to dignify this with a reply.
DOH !
You speak of non truths. You know nothing.
:;! Hidden message. You will rue the day that you crossed the Warm Noggin Brigade. !;:

I hope Friday is a wonderful day for all. Cheers.
Ooh Beanie Brothers. Don't let TRK know.
Actually how does one do that user hail thing on this site, he deserves to be aware of this situation.
Made me chuckle.
Oh shit right thanks. Yeah that's simply wrong. The absolute minority controlling isn't what voting is about, as we all know.
Get that "let them eat cake" era back and sort that whole damn mess out. What a corrupt entire system.
Lol. My ex wife used orange paper once saying that it would be good to stand out. She didn't even get an interview. She was about 36 at the time.
Can somebody please tell me what that Citizens United ruling is all about ?
( Brit in Australia )
I'm in the next suburb and I agree, rude !
Oh wow. I'm in Meadowbrook just down the road. I thought it was rather bloody chilly.
