explanation: the elements in the "Breaking Bad" logo are not the ones in the mug:

Also, A and M are not elements in the periodic table. It seems "M" has the mass of Mg, and even the space for the g, but it was lazily erased. And it's a bit blurry, but I think "A" was supposed to be Al, with mass of 26.98. The worse part is that Albuquerque would be perfectly valid, but they had to fumble this completely.

I thought at first, but that Mg turned into M and the numbers making some sense tell me this is lazy human work

Yeah, I'd guess this is non-conputer-assisted failure, too. Here's the font file, you can see that there are alternative glyphs that could have worked but they just kinda farded and shidded their way through it.

If only Mendelevium was Me instead of Md. The IUPAC really screwed the pooch on that one.

I think they prefer to use the first letter of a different syllable. Mendelevium was once Mv, but never Me, it seems.
