I never really thought about it, but the other day I was typing dinos in a text and it corrected to "DinOS" so now I really want to make Dinosaur Operating System and call it that.

ilinamorato@lemmy.world · 20 pts · 3d (1 reply)

"Din OS" could also be a really loud operating system.

Or a German standardized one

All screen resolutions also need to fit DIN paper aspect ratios.

The only worthy successor to Temple OS

You were born to be nocturnal but forced to be diurnal.

Ooh ooh, or crepuscular! Mostly just because I like the word...

orenj@leminal.space · 6 pts · 3d

Seriously wish I could be allowed to be crepuscular. My cat and I would get up to so many hijinks

Used to be like that, but now I'm the polar opposite most days. Trying to stay awake in the evening until it's an acceptable time to go to sleep. I'm getting old I guess.

genzboomer@lemmy.zip · 5 pts · 2d

Completely on point, even the operating system bit. Yesterday. What a weird coincidence.

Uri@infosec.pub · 3 pts · 2d

Exactly every night lol

smokinliver@sopuli.xyz · 2 pts · 2d (3 replies)

U know that thats an "evolutionary feature" we developed so that right before night (time to go to bed) we would get an energy-boost to make it home safe?

Like back in the cave-times

I hope an Oxford study is sifficient enough?

VitoRobles@lemmy.today · 2 pts · 3d

This is actually how I started writing a book.

I'm mostly complete because Ive been struggling to sleep. But, now I'm stressing about editing and putting it out there for sale.

You’re not actually learning anything. Just getting made up smoke blown up your ass.

BackgrndNoize@lemmy.world · 1 pts · 1d (1 reply)

I hate the AI push as any one, but it is better than google searching and having to click on shitty ad infested websites and then wade through pages of useless info for the one paragraph you actually need, and since I mostly search for topics I know a bit about I can catch most hallucinations, and if I'm serious about what I'm looking into I'll go directly to the source but for casual Google searches I think AI is much better these days

ayyy@sh.itjust.works · 1 pts · 15h

You’re absolutely right!
