Recommendations for Canadian Investment Funds

So that's hard to do 100% because the strongest Canadian stocks are the banks and they invest in american stocks.

VDY is a dividend-ETF that invests in Canadian dividend earning stocks. It's performed very well over the past years and is more or less trading sideways during the us/is/ir war

VDE is another one like it focused on canadian energy stocks but its growth not dividend focuses.

In general look up Vanguard ETFs and see if any of those are what you're looking for.

I use NBC750 - NBI Canadian Equity Index Fund. I'm not sure there is much to recommend it from an others though. It doesn't have a socia/environmental focus, I mostly wanted to avoid american stocks. NBC755 is an international version if you want to spread things around more. I've got most of my money in those two funds, and they are available through QTrade.

I am using Wealthsimple, and they have some ESG ETFs etc listed. I've just done a search for ESG and picked out ones that minimize or exclude the US.
