There are lots of good times to discuss that. But I can assure you that most Norwegians, myself included, would be pretty pissed to hear «great» as the first comment on Harald‘s death. The man was pretty universally well liked, and has been a unifying figure in a period where that is something increasingly rare.
Maybe? If they have end stage alzheimers for example? But a king is a slightly different matter, besides the "great" was clearly in the context of "great time to discuss abolishing the monachy".

If you choose king you also get the worst of the worst. At least with a president there is a degree of choice. A king you just get inbred. But sure
