Anyone with a bike needs it to fit. You wouldn't wear ill-fitting shoes, would you? I see way too many people, especially uber eats riders, riding around with their seat way too low. I feel sorry for their knees.
Not to mention the under-inflated tyres, and people riding bikes that are obviously way too small for them. At least they're on a bike and not in cars, and the low-seat uber eats riders are usually on e-bikes, so they're probably not putting too much stress on their knees, but still...
but why would yiu think that ? I've not had a professional fit on any of my MTB bikes but back when I was racing long distance cross country, all the guys at the pointy end where and that was 30 years ago, longer / shorter cranks etc etc

Yeah it's crazy how it seems everyone rides with their seat too low. I tell people when it looks really bad.

Some places will look at you like you're nuts if you ask for a fit on anything but a higher end road bike.
