the more i post here, the more i can't show this profile to friends anymore. it's like reeeeeally direct with some stuff. not this post tho, this one is as tame as the bunny in the image. first time drawing a bunny... maybe ever.
i guess specifically because i only make oc stuff, it's just a lot more personal. no matter how much i say "this is Lilac saying that, not me!", i am still the one putting those words in the speech bubbles. oh well.
are you polite? do you apologize when you sneeze? i don't, because i sneeze so quietly that peeps don't even notice it most of the time.

I really do like your art, its unique and true to you. Not that I don't still, but I really liked the old shave your eyebrows art that was just doodles and whatever, no need for a running theme or story for comics. And you're doing something very similar.
Just have fun, make as much OC as you want. If there's a goal and a end that's fine. I really like your art tho, I think a lot of other people do to. And you're one of the only people doing this on Lemmy.

Once I realized no amount of being patient and kind was going to make me “good enough” to get what I needed my life changed. It’s called a healing fantasy, it’s part of codependency. The fantasy is if you’re just X enough you will get Y but you’re already enough and getting Y isn’t up to you so if you’re not getting it it’s time to consider finding someone who will give you what you need just as you are

How do you ask before sneezing? I typically know it's happening milliseconds in advance. And then sometimes there's a gradual buildup of a couple seconds. But then my brain shuts down. Anyways I'm grateful for elbows.

The timid conundrum: anyone else ever say "excuse me" in such a small voice that nobody hears you? Then you end up looking like a jerk who didn't say anything as you squeeze through people, yet the very idea of raising your voice to be heard feels even more rude somehow?
Trauma is a hell of a drug...
