I joined Pixelfed as a free alternative to ig. I expected it to be an entertainment platform, but, same as across the Fediverse in general, Pixelfed is full of posts on politics. I want to block any posts in Pixelfed that are related to politics. What filter rules can I use to do this effectively?
UPD: I found out that a fair amount of such content is coming from Mastodon. Does anyone know if I can hide posts from my feed and search results based on their platform of origin?

There is some sort of bug in pixelfed. Normally, you don't see posts unless they have an image, but for some reason, you can see posts that someone else boosts even if it doesn't have an image. That's how most non photo political stuff snuck through to my timeline. You can get around it by hiding boosts from people you follow who boost the content you don't want to see.

Nah I see only photo stuff. Like, a whole post for sake of a screenshot of NY Times or whatever the hell these people read
