Who has enough money and so little sense, as to give 12k worth of drugs to this waddling blob of comedy?

finallymadeanaccount@lemmy.world · 24 pts · 3d

At least he's getting his steps in!

WolfmanEightySix@piefed.social · 17 pts · 3d (2 replies)

Put a shirt on mate.

Fallofturkey@lemmy.world · 16 pts · 3d (1 reply)

Somehow it's a flesh colored shirt...?

ChicoSuave@lemmy.world · 7 pts · 3d

The sun bouncing off his pale skin blinded the image sensors and washed out the colors. He's a whiter shade of pale now.

Must be wild living right next door to a prison.

HeyThisIsntTheYMCA@lemmy.world · 4 pts · 2d (4 replies)

Why? The 20 years I lived near one, nothing happened.

HerbalGamer@sh.itjust.works · 3 pts · 2d (1 reply)

Might just be the one I was in but do you get prisoners yelling from the windows to eachother?

HeyThisIsntTheYMCA@lemmy.world · 1 pts · 2d

Not really. The prison's pretty far back from the road. If they did, we wouldn't hear it.

Theoriginalthon@lemmy.world · 2 pts · 2d (1 reply)

Not even a fat guy failing at throwing?

HeyThisIsntTheYMCA@lemmy.world · 2 pts · 2d

I mean, that's Tuesdays. But besides Tuesdays

Jiggle_Physics@quokk.au · 8 pts · 2d (7 replies)

Shit, had that been a US prison he would be surrounded by officers before he made it through four attempts.

HeyThisIsntTheYMCA@lemmy.world · 5 pts · 2d (6 replies)

I grew up near a prison. The city baseball fields were right next to it. Sometimes you just lost a ball. Never got tackled or even noticed by BoP employees for hitting a foul.

Lemminary@lemmy.world · 5 pts · 2d (1 reply)

Plot twist: the baseballs were all full of drugs.

HeyThisIsntTheYMCA@lemmy.world · 2 pts · 2d

12k of drugs each

Jiggle_Physics@quokk.au · 2 pts · 1d (3 replies)

You very likely were more watched, and understood, than you think. Each of those balls was probably checked, and it was likely that there were strict penalties for inmates who grabbed one, assuming any inmates would be able to. There was probably a disposal point for them as to keep employees from bringing outside contraband in. This is very different to walking up to the prison wall, and throwing some random object over it, especially doing it multiple times, showing you are trying to get it over the walls. There are thousands of videos online of guys standing on the closes public road to prisons, and jails, and they get attention in minutes, when they are just taking pictures, and some video.

Even for facilities in densely populated areas, like downtowns in metro areas, similar to the one I used to work in, who have to be a lot more tolerant of people on their grounds, and at the periphery, if someone went into some place uncommon, or was acting strangely, there would be guards there in minutes to question them, and drive them away. The people on the walking/biking path right next to the building, who would often linger around, lean on the fence, etc., rarely caused a reaction though.

AviAdi@lemmy.world · 1 pts · 1d (1 reply)

Lol you give prison guards way too much credit. They are lazy pieces of shit... 😂

Jiggle_Physics@quokk.au · 0 pts · 1d

How many years experience do you have working in a prison facility?

HeyThisIsntTheYMCA@lemmy.world · 1 pts · 1d

It was a bit more further spaced out, in an exurb (so we had a good blend of rural and urban), and yeah, we knew we were being watched just being there. But you don't get to choose where they build the baseball fields. The perimeter before you get to the fence around the prison is something like 50 yards wide and has a hedge in the middle. The fence for the baseball field ran along the outer fence (of like three layers. Maybe four) for the prison.

Honestly at first I felt weird playing near the prison, but then I was just glad to provide the inmates some entertainment. They were always respectful (I get people have different experiences, but I have been fortunate) when we played that field.

Should have used a sling

SkyezOpen@lemmy.world · 5 pts · 2d

A trebuchet (the superior siege engine) would have gotten it over with no issue.

Malica@lemmy.zip · 4 pts · 1d

I thought he was naked for way too long

scrubbles@poptalk.scrubbles.tech · 4 pts · 3d

Ironically he ran, looking like it pained him. If he would have walked casually and acted like he was going to a car or something might have gotten away with it. Instead he looked suspicious from the start

Texas_Hangover@lemmy.radio · 2 pts · 2d

Big boy is getting his steps in that day 🤣

What's with the watermark on the video?

"The Archbishop of Banterbury"

Krudler@lemmy.world · 1 pts · 3d (4 replies)

Does anybody know what's happening in the video? I'm very uncertain.

YiddishMcSquidish@lemmy.today · 12 pts · 3d (2 replies)

Comically obese person tries to throw a small brick sized package over the wall of a prison. They are unsuccessful.

Krudler@lemmy.world · 0 pts · 1d (1 reply)

How are you able to ascertain this?

JGrffn@lemmy.world · 3 pts · 1d

.... With our eyes? They also mention hi name in the very first blob of text on the video, which you can search online to find and verify this story.

Edit: just noticed one of your favorite communities is lemmyshitpost...

Watch the video and read the text? 🤔
