What kind of fucking dipshit employer would think that overheated, dehydrated workers would perform better by any measure?

How much does it cost you every time an employee passes out from heat exhaustion and work stops while they call an ambulance?

What's the indirect cost of employees learning that they should never give more than 50% because they never know how long before they get a break or some water?

They know it harms productivity. I think you'll find, for many of the elite, cruelty is as much the point as profit, sometimes more. This will lose them productivity and therefore money, but it will gain them sadistic glee. I fear that for many of them, it's the only way they have left to feel anything at all.

I believe a guillotine would make them feel something.

They probably see this as "culling the weak."

Eventually they'll have a workforce working for pennies on the dollar that can withstand high temperatures and don't mind skipping breaks or something, and would shiv each other for a pizza day.

Y'know, real "go getters" with a "strong work ethic."

Your human needs are getting in the way of shareholder profit. Solution kill your workers, force women out of the workforce, make birth control illegal and you’ll have more workers to kill
