Having just gotten an offer after 9 months of being jobless, I can relate to this. Although the 1k/month hike vs my previous job is a nice incentive.

This is exactly it. Also the reason that inputting an excerpt of a classical text (cfr. Dracula, Frankenstein, ...) returns "likely AI" results - it's literally what it was trained on.

A good person is someone who has (almost) no vices. There are obviously varying degrees, and not all vices are equal. But my bar for clearing "good person" is pretty damned high, and I personally don't make it by a long shot.

I've unfortunately learned that continued masking is the price we have to pay for our existence in this society. The few times I let up I paid dearly (broke down at work due to years of accumulating stress - fired. Broke down at home because of the former - almost lost my relationship. Etc.).

I'm no longer willing to jeopardize my already bleak future with it.

Having owned many chickens over the years, their actual intelligence varies quite a bit. In my experience the regular brown laying hens don't usually have too much going on "up there". Pedigreed chickens are usually a good bit smarter. I assume this is mostly because of mass breeding which hasn't occurred with "fancy" breeds nearly as much as with staple animals.
