I did that early on, and did not know about the appeal process. sgrdddy told me about it but I was not able to create an account to initiate it. sgrdddy was able to do it for me. I would guess that Jeep knows about it, but it might be worth reminding him. If he missed a MMOC day, he also missed a STAG day.
At the beginning of the month, I was worried about having enough soap so I bought more. Then I thought I might pull off a tub kill on the last day. Looks like I'm going to miss by several shaves. :)
Post Shave: Southern Witchcrafts - Tres Matres - Toner
Fragrance: London Razors - Mountain Laurel - EdP
Great shave. I did 15/70 cotton/leather, 15 strokes on a chromium oxide "strop" (old pants), then 50 more on leather. The edge was very gentle and cut very close. Super happy with this shave.
Azure is a very pleasant scent. I'm at the point now where I don't really think about which aftershave or frag I'm going to use, but looking at what I grabbed they all have a very similar theme to them. It's interesting that choosing post shave and frag products is second nature to me, because I've never really put much thought into it during my shaving career thus far.
Razor: Razorock Cyber Medium w/ 316L Bamboo handle
Blade: BIC Chrome Platinum
Lather: Better Be Bold - Head Shave Cream
Post Shave: Zingari Man - The Master
2 passes on the head, a rather good shave.
I forgot to post a shave I did on Wednesday before hitting the gym with one of my colleagues and her friend. Yeah, I trained at a commercial gym this week! Felt nice to be able to talk in between sets, my usual home workouts are more of a meditative affair. I was also able to still get 60 kg/135 lbs on the Overhead Press for a single rep, which was rather satisfying. Of course, going out and having some social connections is also truly a great feeling. Arguably even more so than any PRs.
This shave here was done before visiting my parents and doing some yard work with my father. Somehow we got along better than usual recently and it went well. I also did some home training after returning, and everything has its pros and cons - while the gym is much more social, at home I can choose my own music and don't need to wait for equipment to be free. Anyways...
The shave itself wasn't as enjoyable today as the one on Wednesday were I used Ouddiction by A&E. Sure, the brushless cream works when I am short on time and have other things to do, but a real soap just feels nicer. Somehow I had fewer weepers today though, just one behind my left ear (usual tricky spot). I like the Cyber for shaving my head, even though it blatantly rips off the Henson razor.
Hope everyone of you is feeling well and had a nice Sunday ✌🏻

August 30th, 2026: MMOCMQ Day 30
Loaded way too much soap and made a mess, but the lather was good and the shave gave great results.
This brush performs great now that it's broken in. I still think I prefer a larger boar knot, but no complaints after using this for the month.

Good group of MMOC mastery candidates. I'm a bit surprised about Jeep. I bet he just forgot to post.

That’s definitely what happened. 😄
He did retroactively post his shave on the missing day, but I haven’t seen an appeal come through in the portal yet.

Good call with your loaded strop material. For years, I used denim from an old pair of jeans loaded with Mother's Mag. Works just fine.
