My spouse and I often play Marco Polo if we ever get separated in a small store or somewhere. Many times the local college students join in. It's always funny
I have family who worked in casinos all their lives, and they use the kissing sound they're taught to use when working in the casino when out and about.
Back when malls were really a thing, I once walked past a friend in one without noticing her. She apparently noticed me, though, and happened to be walking past a police officer.
This was in roughly 2001, so well before ACAB was a thing.
She briefly addressed the officer, told him my full name, and asked him to get my attention. He turned around and shouted my name in a very authoritarian manner. It was alarming, but I can't deny it got my attention.
