What is going on here and is it heaven or hell?

Also, if the camera is on the lcd side, does that mean you can only take selfies?

The main display uses an E Ink panel, which is said to achieve a respectable refresh rate of 85 Hz and can display colors

I guess this might be good enough to have some sort of idea of what you're pointing at. E-ink has gotten pretty good - here's a brief demonstration of video shown on a 60 Hz e-ink monitor.

Colour representation is probably going to be less than great, but in return it'll be great for taking pictures in direct sunlight.
