Often I think about the efficacy of just keeping a little "emergency meth" on my person in case I ever get into a life or death situation. Could it possibly save my life, or would it just endanger someone else's, or would it not kick in until I was already bleeding out on the floor
Modafinil (or one of its other variants) would likely be better and safer. It reduces your need for sleep significantly. Combined with some caffeine pills it would have a better effect for far less insanity.
It's the difference between an ebike and a JATO rocket. Both will mostly do the same job. But one is a lot less spectacular, but likely a lot more useful.
FYI: the depicted chocolate bar is fake. Zotter didn't exist back then.
Zotter is kind of the opposite of Panzerschokolade; their entire brand is sustainable and fair chocolate production.
They even ship the chocolate cocoa on old-school sailboats instead of diesel powered ones! and they have a great factory tour at their autrian headquarters! ;)
The term "Panzerschokolade" was actually just a euphemism the troops issued them used for their Pervitin pills, because they were so available you could gobble them down like some candy.
