The left-wing parties’ lead has collapsed to about 2% at the last poll, meaning that it’s debatable whether they are still a frontrunner.

If a 2% fall is all it takes for their front runner crown to be debated, were they ever the front runner to begin with?

2% is well within the margin of error in polls

I think the comment meant down to two percent, not down by two percent.
