I saw a video of Henry Caville in Times Square under a huge Superman billboard wearing a Superman t shirt and people didn’t recognize him as Superman with or without glasses.

That's because nobody watched that movie

Which is sad because he actually makes for a good Superman. Movie itself wasn't the best, but I've seen worse superhero movies. A lot of them.

I try to be Zack Snyder apologist but those movies made it pretty hard. Then Rebel Moon made it harder. Now I don't think I can defend him outside saying "watchmen was okay".

Did they specifically ask people about him (like "look at this guy, do you know who that is?"), or did they just assume because no one approached him? I couldn't imagine actually bothering someone in public just because they're famous. Though I also wouldn't trust in my ability to recognize a celebrity, I'd definitely not be the one to figure out that Clark Kent is Superman if I was living in that universe.

IIRC they expected people to start coming up to them but they eventually had to ask people.

I think they just underestimated what it took to impress New Yorkers

You mean the Witcher Gerald Guy?

That’s because he’s the Cavillrine.
