so i got an email this morning reminding me to renew and they told me not to look at the breakdown. they told me "just donate and move on." but I looked.
these screenshots are proof that the "means of production" are heavily skewed toward one developer over another. someone get lenin on the phone, because this distribution of wealth is a joke. i’m not mad, i’m just documenting history for the proletariat uprising.

Did they, or are you putting words in their mouth?
Lemmy isn’t a for-profit endeavor, so allusions to capitalism are misplaced. Why the funds might be distributed that way, I haven’t the faintest idea, but I can dream up just as many benign reasons for it as I can nefarious ones.
Instead of drumming up Lemmy drama based on conjecture, you could have asked the developers directly for clarification.
