It was a really great run with one of my favorite scents. I finished the aftershave and tub. Of course the EdP is going strong. The next set is ready to go.
Aftershave: The Cajun Blade - The Cutter Aftersauce - Aftershave
2 passes. Face lather. Excellent shave.
Today was my very first experience with a shavette that takes Artist Club blades. This was something that I thought would be an "okay" shaving experience, but was very surprised by how much I enjoyed it. To date, I have downplayed these types of razors for new straight razor shavers, but this shave completely changed my mind.
Brush: AP Shave Co. Snakeskin w/ 26 mm Flattop/Fan hybrid knot
Razor: Leaf Thorn
Blade: Derby Premium
Lather: House of Mammoth - Mood Indigo
Post Shave: OAM - Dolce Vita ASB
Single pass on both head and neck, mostly WTG. Comfortable, but not close. But it doesn't need to be right now.
Since my last head shave was with a foil shaver, I kinda had the urge for wetshaving again today. To be absolutely honest, I think I have fallen out of the hobby loop and now just do it to feel good and smell nice. Things that no electric shaver can give me - there's still something special about being able to handle a brush, soap and safety razor.
Indigo is good stuff. There's something that makes smokey blueberries fit very well with September.
Yet another dentist appointment tomorrow, so I feel uneasy yet again. Like everything, this will pass.

Open comb side of the 1.25 plate this morning. Really smooth and comfortable shave with no irritation. I'm excited to try the 1.55 plate tomorrow.

Despite the MM14 being my AA razor, I’m still using it because it’s damn, damn good. Get your hands on one if you can.

The good old 34C. Not as efficient as its homage, the RazoRock GOAT. Still a good razor, though.
