Wonderful picture. Not really related to this picture... but scenes like this always bring back some of my childhood memories, playing The Secret of Monkey Island, and you'd get this map of Melee Island. Can point and click on the lights and explore what's out there. Maybe there's a Swordmaster at one of the lights further out... Maybe there's a light with a different colour and there's something special there...

I miss sodium lamps. Why does street lighting have to be bright white LEDs?

I don't mind LEDs, I just hate that they have to be white.

I've recently moved into a new place, and all the big lights are like, blindingly white. It's not even their brightness per se, but the fact that they are so white.

LEDs can be yellow. They just buy white.

because that's significantly safer, you literally see better under white (or even blueish) light than you do under yellowish light.

look up scotopic vs photopic vision.
