Yeah, fuck casinos. "I'm shocked! Shocked to learn of illegal gambling in this establishment!!" As if it isn't normal. I was amongst the crew to get cards banned from the school lunchroom, and we weren't playing for stakes. Worst thing to be be said for us, definitely should have been more inclusive. We needed a teacher to sponsor to us, but perhaps no teachers liked us or cared or whatever

E: spelling etc

Then why don’t start with a complete deck for every round?

Casinos would just find other scummy ways to scam you if everyone were allowed to count cards nowadays. It would be an infinite money glitch! Casinos and lotteries are designed to give the mathematical advantage to the house always. Casinos would just get rid of card games or rig it in some other form. Gambling is so stupid to me anyways, it's not like they ever have operated on having high odds of winning or ever seemed worth it, the legal oversight seems minimal and is just by having a standardized low and "fair" odds across their machines that they are supposed to abide lawfully to. And even those laws I bet aren't enforced equally across the board and are abused, so why bother?

I never understood the appeal. Is it something I would need lots of money to understand? Playing the lottery is as far as I would go with it. Lotteries are held to more higher standards and it's much cheaper. The only thing that would make your odds better at a casino is the fact you're simply giving yourself more chances or "draws" in various different games and slot machines because you're actually staying inside there for longer periods of time and simply playing more games to get more chances at winning. You could probably just buy a bunch of lotto tickets and win back a similar amount of money. I could be wrong of course, but it seems so stupid to me to go gambling. Casinos are designed in EVERY aspect to part a fool with their money. They LOVE to booze people up so they keep playing for longer, cause they know you'll be screwed no matter how many games you play there. They know they won't be taking a loss ever. When I went to Vegas I would just chill near the slot machines and pretend like I was playing the slot machines to get free drinks lmao

I never got the appeal of slots until an era where I found a nicer gas station chain with private gambling rooms, they offered snacks, soda, a free $15 slot play on your birthday to rewards members.

So, naturally when I found out this could be exploited by just generating lots of rewards email accounts, with consecutive birthdays in a week, and showing up at different locations during different shifts, I was having a blast for free with snacks and drinks, and often some winnings. It's SO much fun when it's all reward and no risk I get why those bastards rig the odds to always be in their favor. I also get why people would actually risk something for that thrill.
