God, please, it doesn't have to be for dating, someone just make Mastodon with a different UI, everything from the name to the logo makes me physically repulsed that people try to promote it as something viable for users to adopt.

It was always the most attractive users with quality photos getting matches, actually building your profile was seen as desperate/a red flag for men and women I matched with.
I'd argue we just culturally have a higher number of semi-internet savvy people with a phone now vs. those people willing to sit down and design a profile on their desktop or laptop. More conventionally attractive people are accessing dating platforms now than before because tinder normalized it culturally.
I guess my point is, online dating has always sucked if you were born with the uggo.
I never got the appeal of slots until an era where I found a nicer gas station chain with private gambling rooms, they offered snacks, soda, a free $15 slot play on your birthday to rewards members.
So, naturally when I found out this could be exploited by just generating lots of rewards email accounts, with consecutive birthdays in a week, and showing up at different locations during different shifts, I was having a blast for free with snacks and drinks, and often some winnings. It's SO much fun when it's all reward and no risk I get why those bastards rig the odds to always be in their favor. I also get why people would actually risk something for that thrill.
This is what will lead me to the full change in diet. I'm at the mitigation and small changes phase. I really don't have ethics issues with animals as food (farming & hunting meat isn't bad when suffering is inherent to existence, and to deny this is to deny given order), but we exist in a capitalist hellscape that has zero shame or remorse for exploiting making perverse anything once natural for profit.
For me so far, convenience on mobile when looking up information on physical places and business. I get the phone number, address, and hours of operation without clicking a link.
As I'm transitioning to using Ecosia, that's what I find myself going back to Google search for most frequently. I tried switching to clicking links on Ecosia to find a phone number to call, and quickly came to the conclusion the websites are enshittified also, or at least ridiculous to navigate and find useful information. On at least one occasion already Google has had the phone number listed at the top of Search for an organization that just didn't have a phone number provided from themselves anywhere online. (Okay, maybe they had it on their Facebook page, but I'm trying to improve my user experience not soil it).
My favorite indulgence. & Super easy to get. If a diner simultaneously had waffles and fried chicken of any sort on the menu, but didn't advertise chicken and waffles, I would happily pay for two entrees and have them prepare my beloved chicken and waffle. This behavior bewildered many waiters and waitresses for some reason.
I miss vaping, my mod broke on me last year after a good run. I am not too well off, and all the reusable ones at the local stores have a pretty high upfront cost I can't reach bc I'm burning tobacco cigarettes. The vape is cheaper in the long run, I just wish I could quit tobacco long enough to get myself a decent refillable vape again.
I hate the feeling it leaves in my mouth, it smells bad to others, my lungs feel worse with tobacco than vape, and I scrounge for cig butts outside when I'm without. I'm winded bending over to pick them up.
I don't want to quit smoking nicotine completely, I've tried. I just hopefully can make it a vaping habit again before my lungs give up on me.

I played for a couple months 2 years ago. It uses GPS to determine if you are at a Gym, Pokestop, or not. Users can submit pics for a new Pokestop, but in all that I've played, I've never used the AR features or submitted pics. A catch attempt looks like so does feeding berries and whatnot. There's different backdrops for time of day if I remember. I barely give anything camera permissions and I keep my rear camera slide covered.
When I was in my early 20s I would have said yes without a doubt.
Now, a TBI turned me into a manipulative being lusting for satisfaction never to be found without dropping personality continuity from when I genuinely was better. I go to weekly therapy, am heavily medicated, and try not to step on anyone's toes anymore. I have fallen so far there's not many toes around to step on anymore.
I'll help the elderly neighbors out with their potlucks, moving furniture, and bringing in groceries. I'll stand up and defend LGBT rights and groups otherwise disparaged. I'll befriend those who might be misunderstood like myself and give them company when others might shun them.
All of this serves me though, and being a "good person" was not something that took this much active effort to think about before developing these mental/personality disorders from the head injury.
