Post Shave: Stirling Soap Co. - Friends to the End - Balm

Great shave as usual with this razor.
I didn't mention it yesterday, but I've noticed something when I use Chicago Grooming Co. Smoke on the Water cream. I usually get a little tingle from it, but if I run the lather on the dry side, I don't. As I dial in that cream base I'm starting to like it more and more. I still prefer soap overall, though.
This Kampfe Star was made in the mid 1800's. It is always fun to shave with these. I honed the blade that came with this razor, and the blade certainly showed wear. I was concerned that over the years the blade had become too short for the razor head, but the edge just barely clears, and I was able to get a good shave.

It's been a while since I used one of my synth knots. Super easy lather and a great shave.

2 passes. Face lather. Good shave.
