You can watch videos with the AI filtering applied, also from "certain" corners of the web. That's apparently what people want.

Now, you might be wondering why you would want to enable DLSS 5 when you're simply in Windows, browsing and checking emails. That's a good question, and DLSS 5 doesn't really alter the standard Windows 11 desktop wallpaper or text in a meaningful way, not that we were expecting it to.

However, because DLSS 5 Neural Rendering applies to everything you see on-screen, you can use it for watching videos on YouTube, viewing pictures, playing games in a window, and more. NeuralScreen also comes with a simple UI that lets you switch between different DLSS 5 models, adjust the intensity sliders, and even see the before-and-after effect with a handy slider.

So, for lulz.

Also: how is this selling tactic (second box) called? Pretending some common usage patterns are the products, so people associate them, despite the product being useless there. Something i expect from a shopping tv channel in insidious underhandedness.

That's stupid. DLSS5 needs real vertex data to work properly, a YouTube video has none. This is just throwing pc performance down the drain to drink the AI kool-aid.
