Nope. I mean I bought a laptop with an 5080 through a benefit at work that lopped off $1k... but that is DEFINITELY not what they're talking about.
And last time I was at bestbuy, the entire fucking cabinet of GPUs was full.

I would think this is due to businesses buying high end GPUs for local AI workloads in workstations, not gamers.
