A title from a non-american source with actual journalism would say "Scientific community flees American fascism. Canada accepts academic refugees and supports their research."
US "decision". It's as meaningless as all the other bad faith negotiations. There is nothing to see here. No deals to be had. No relief sought or return to normalcy.
When people overhype stuff, I know watching it with high expectations will ruin it for me. I prefer for the hype to go away, me to forget everything and go in with a clean mental slate and no expectations. I enjoy what I'm watching much more.
Folks overhyped films before and I didn't enjoy it. I waited 10 years to watch Titanic and was pleasantly surprised. Weird? Sure, but it works for me.
I don't share your confidence of their confidence. Weakening the US economically, isolating it from allies, destroying herd immunity and public health, bringing back formerly extirpated/eradicated diseases and pests.
The rich and powerful are not protected from this. The opposite of win-win is not win-lose, its lose lose.
I got into home distilling during the pandemic. Fun, and damn fine sipping. Done gin, whiskey and vodka I'm proud of. My rum was a failure, but only in the sense that it tasted like whiskey. The congeners for rum are too hard for my setup. Aged in an oak barrel and everything.
I made a an excellent coffee liqueur with my magicks, home roasted beans used in a cold booze-pressed espresso and a vanilla bean then aged on oak and applewood.
It was the inspiration for my username - you can "correct" any coffee based drink with quality booze. Yum.
Either or.
I'd be ok with this.
Exactly.

This is a great example of how serious Canada takes our threats. I.e. not nearly serious enough.

I gigglesnorted. Thanks.

Mr Private Jet Company with his own private collection of planes and helicopters who writes books on climate change is a liar? Wild take. /s
I applaud the spirit, but NPR is the least egregious sources of actual news for Americans.
I also aplaud your excellent hole usage in general.

Cool. I just know agents and publishers have feedback and editing support too. Just was wondering what stage you are in.
Good luck.
He has no reasons. He doesn't think beyond bullying. His handlers and backers however appear to be a death cult.
This. Forest Bathing. Parks, Ravines, Forests, farmcountry hikes, whatever. Get outside and spend the day, all of it, outdoors and away from tech.
