Depends on the science? Who has only sciences and not physics (orange), biology (green) and chemistry (yellow) separated? But mine were also out of hard paper and not plastic..
Blue is math, orange is chemistry, green is biology. My physics folder was always light blue but that's not in there apparently and then red is for your mother tongue language subject.
Of course everyone is different but naturally my colors are right so everyone else must be wrong.
Seems like some colors are truly universal for some (western) countries.
Read some threads here have some colors that are the same as it were for me.
Here were mine:
Red - German (mother tongue)
Orange (or Yellow) - English (2nd lang)
Blue - Math
Green - Nature Sciences
Yellow - IT/wood-working (depending on school year)
Purple (or adjacent) - Religion or Ethics (Ethics for non-christian students)

Agree, except physics is dark blue because math is blue.

Depends on where science lands on my schedule. I'd sort the folders in rainbow order and match that to the order of my schedule.
