The best I can do is give you my example I use when I try to explain my feelings regarding bottom surgery.
Once I was given a blue pen, didn’t ask for it but I enjoyed drawing water, the sky and many other things. I always fancied having a red pen though, so I can draw the sunset, fire and roses. I don’t hate the blue pen, it’s been great but if I could choose I’d have the red pen any day.
I feel mostly annoyed about my parts because they get in the way.. I just can’t wear what I want without extra steps and a constant feeling of bulging ಠ_à²
In regards to the costs, how much is it in your country? I have no concept of costs because in my place the health insurance would cover the costs if I ever were to get it (if I have a paper from my psychologist saying the op is required or recommended).
In other TMI news: I think it patience and introspective is what will get you the furthest. I tried anal, the differences in enjoyment proper prep makes is - at least for me - staggering. Which I only bring up because sometimes we don’t do a thing because it wasn’t perfect the first time. Some things require practice/experience.
The top bar showed me the links always as Lemmy.blåhaj.zone/photon so maybe there was a redirect error or something? I don’t know technology it’s all magic to me.
Edit: As evident by my 4 answers because the app (Voyager) kept telling me there was an error in posting my answer.
There is another fish (kobudai) when the female reaches a critical size and age she goes into hiding, transitions and emerges as male. I think they live near Japan.
I hate it even on highways. Some cars assist is gentle and more of a ‘hey be careful’ reminder which is the best option and the one I can get behind but others have an aggressive ‘you have to fight me’ attitude even if your indicators are on. Those can burn in hell.
Steven Universe, once you are past the first episodes in which they didn’t really know for whom the show is it steadily improves. It has an excellent story arch of growing up, finding your identity and dealing with ppl. Who deadname you.
If I go out and spent quite a bit on food, I want it to at least be something I like. I can’t afford to drop like 40 bucks on some dinner somewhere and then declare that it wasn’t for me and not eat it.
Pretty sure the Hamster would be fine, didn’t Kurzgesagt have a video on this kinda stuff where they tossed a mouse of a skyscraper but due to the mass and size of the mouse it doesn’t reach a speed in which it dies on impact?
Do not point out things to someone when they can’t fix them right now. For example, don’t tell me I have a stain on my jumper when we are out in the office with no change to fix it. I will remain conscious about it the rest of the day.
Another was misunderstandings are the norm not an exception. They are happening just as often as successful communication.
This also ensures that you are staying on the site longer, come back more often and have a positive imagine of the site because you like what you see.
It also increases the likelihood of you engaging with the content shown. Comment, like and share.
Every now and then the algorithm takes a guess and will show things it usually would not show, which serves as a test. Do you engage with it, is your stay terminated or do you ignore it? Based on that it adds to your profile for next time.
When this was posted a few days back maybe a week or two, a comment or pointed out that they couldn’t even verify the amount of shells dumped saying some articles they found on it cited half a million shells other said half a million tons but apparently non could point out where the number is coming from.
Either way I give it a quick check if I can pull up the older post and link here.
Edit was quick, it’s been just about a week since.
Headline kinda missed the scale of this whole thing.
It's LLM-generated from some mill called UpWorthy; the fact it's on Yahoo! News just lends it some credibility because most people aren't going to understand that, while Yahoo! News has some original articles of its own, it's primarily a news aggregator with minimal quality standards.
Restoring the balance of these elements is not only critical to marine life, but human life as well. And we're not just talking about food supply here. A lack of fish means a lack of income for fishermen, and higher prices at seafood restaurants. Dirty waters lead to a decline in tourism. Reefs even provide natural protection during coastal storms. It's almost like every aspect of our lives is directly affected by the state of our environment. What a concept!
OP genuinely doesn't seem to give a shit about the quality of what they post; I administered the other day what I think has been the first temp ban of a poster from !leopardsatemyface@lemmy.world because they refused to learn when their posts got removed for clear lack of relevance.
Edit: This article never once sources this information. The FDEP talks about using oysters but never says 500,000 tons, and all I can immediately find about that specific claim are some shitty AI videos from late 2025.
Edit 2: But here's a neat report! Again, though, the 500k number seems to have been pulled out of an AI hat.
One: There is a joke about internet browsers in there I just can’t thing of a good one, you know because they are on edge instead of a decent browser.
Two, when I get bogged down in mental arguments with myself, I distract myself with help from my wife. Cuddles work wonders here.
Speak for yourself, that does 100% describe me from a few years ago.
He’s just mad that his party’s copying of the AfD didn’t get them the votes.

Thank you, that did the trick!

But only if we don’t change the rules in the meantime to make things worse for you.
I think this needs more Fake Gold aesthetics. Maybe a fake gold fan or so.
Love it ðŸ¤

If you paint that on a canvas minus the human Infrastructure I’d Frame it.

Two things:
One: There is a joke about internet browsers in there I just can’t thing of a good one, you know because they are on edge instead of a decent browser.
Two, when I get bogged down in mental arguments with myself, I distract myself with help from my wife. Cuddles work wonders here.
