Women less likely than men to be offered active medical treatment for the same conditions

Occupational hazards, different body sizes.

There's a great book called Invisible Women if you like stats or being angry, but they make the claim that quality years aren't much different for men vs women, women just kinda stay alive longer. I've poorly paraphrased but I hope that kinda made sense.
