Earlier in the podcast, Rogan took issue with the perception of himself as right-wing “because I look right-wing and because I did kind of help Trump.” (Rogan’s interview with Trump before the 2024 election and last-minute endorsement of him were credited with helping the Republican to victory.)
“I’ve been left-wing my whole life,” Rogan continued. “I have very left-wing views on a lot of things. But I also recognize when government is taking over our lives. And what we were sold with the Trump administration would be that would end and it would be ‘drain the swamp.’ Obviously, it’s not been ideal in that regard.”

Actions speak louder than words. He's claimed to be left-wing for a long time, he interviewed Bernie Sanders and publicly supported him.
In reality, he's not left or right wing, he's money-winged. He does whatever it takes to make his bank account grow. Which is typically supporting right wing policies.
That's why he moved to texas. That's why he supported trump. That's why he just nods along with everyone on his show.
All he cares about is how many more zeros he can add to his net worth.

Recently admitted he didn't know enough about Ken Paxton, the attorney general of the state he moved to for Freedom, who is legislating against marijuana legalization, the only political issue Rogan, like most libertarians, actually personally cares about.
Guy is obviously an operative, but conservatives constantly fall for any right winger who claims to be independent. It's their drug. I remember being a child excited to listen to Rush Limbaugh's take-no-prisoners radio diatribes and eventually even I noticed his only targets were Democrats.

Claiming that a youtube video "absolutely annihilated" a celebrity is so common its banal and ridiculous, but the latest Elephant Graveyard video on Rogan is so damning. Its undeniable that he's a talentless, cloying clout beast whose fame has been hyper-accellerated by literal vampire and arch nemesis of humanity, Peter Thiel.
The whole series by EG has really cut the legs out from under the Austin comedy cult, but this video is uniquely damning
