I don't know if it was staged. There is room for that, Trump doesn't give a fuck about anyone so it's probable that he wouldn't care if the backdrop for a fake assassination was a crowd of his supporters. I think it's more probable that secret service informed him and he said "cool, this could work. Let him get through".
What I think happened to his ear is that a glass shard was ejected from the teleprompter and hit his ear. Getting hit in the earlobe by a .223 would take off half the ear. There's no way the bullet actually hit him, that's for sure.
Nah, it was 100% staged, the secret service literally let a dude with a rifle climb up on top of a shed with people informing them of the fact. Video shows trumps aids moving reporters around the base of the stage right before the shot.
You mean the ultra maga Trump supporter shooter? The one who was quickly cremated and had his cremation paid for by an anonymous donor? The one where there was no real investigation afterwords?
A supporter is the most likely to feel betrayed. That part makes sense to me. If it was staged it seems like they would have made the shooter an immigrant or something.
Where do you see he was Ultra Maga? He donated to the Democrats under Biden, then later registered as a republican. Prior to his attempt he was searching for campaign stops for both Trump and Biden. He was just an isolated kid who hated American society, and who frequently quoted Mao Zedong as saying "the only true political power comes from the barrel of the gun."
Let's think about what it would take for this to be staged. You'd have to have the kid be willing to give up his life for Trump, ok thats technically possible if he was extreme MAGA (which again, no evidence that he was).
But then you'd have to have the secret service in on it too, as well as the FBI. Trump would have to be in on it as well, to fake his ear injury. You know - the guy who can't keep his mouth shut for five seconds.
I always come back to Watergate. Nixon couldn't wiretap a building as the sitting president. Trump staging an assassination attempt from the outside would be an order of magnitude harder.
Ears heal pretty well as long as they're dealt with fast. I had my ear cut in half by accident and you couldn't tell now. Even when I tell people they can't point to it. Surgery the day of and two other minor surgeries at different times and no one knows the difference.
