note i don't have any experience with these, nor do i have any clients that use them.. but here we go: ecwid and panierdachat are based in montreal... and prestashop is french and is open source software (you run on your own server or web space) or use their own hosted service. (just add a .com to any of those company names find them online).
shopify is canadian, btw, but i totally understand wanting to avoid them.

Qobuz is french, pays artists the second most per play and gave me extra access to a conversion service without limits for the first months so that I could move all my playlists over.
