But with that money they can manipulate the perception of the masses, especially once they master AI. They can also shut your career down and sue you into oblivion.
Conceivably, we could all stop watching NFL, which would hurt Kraft dramatically. It's not like the NFL hasn't earned a serious boycott.

This may not be a popular take here, but I don't think I can bring myself to be particularly mad at Sheeran here. First and foremost, it was Kraft et al that pushed him to drop openers. They earn 90% of my irritation.
I don't think it's healthy, or really all that helpful, to spend 24/7 focused on the ills of the world. There's always going to be more wrong with the world than you are going to have time to keep up with, and you will only drive yourself mad in the trying. If Ed Sheeran wants his music to be that break that every human needs, I can't really blame him too strongly for that.
He doesn’t have to seek it out or be the person shouting from the rooftops. What he DOES need to do is stand up for his own supporting acts when they get silenced. You think Kraft would’ve gone through with missing out on all of that revenue? Sheeran could’ve played a nearby park and not lost out on anything.
Alumni Stadium isn't far away in Boston, is owned by Boston College, and holds 44k people instead of 71k that Gillette Stadium holds. He could have tried to play there instead. He wouldn't have needed to change too many plans regarding the stage because they're both football stadiums with turf.
