Yooooooooo it's ya boy ClemDeLaCrem back again today we're doing a no-thermite Urn% speedrun, tryin' to get that sub-ten minute mark. Were using Song 2 for all three music slots and were going to try and take advantage of an exploit that allows the music to play during the sermon. Also we're limiting the deceased daughter's poetry choice to limericks. Let's gooooooo.
I've heard of this done. I've never watched the stream, but I've heard of it being done. Like the other person said, it's for those who can't be there.
My wife and I actually live-streamed our wedding, but it was before smartphones, so what we did was, we both had our phones call out to different places, and they put us on speakerphone. We didn't have them on speaker, so if anyone said anything, it didn't interrupt the ceremony. But they got to hear us and everything that was said. I don't recall who my wife called, but I called my mother, who couldn't make it. I know she said they had like 25-30 people over just crowding around the phone listening.
But yeah, funeral sad so why do the same? Again, I've only heard of the practice, never joined one live. It sounds weird but some people need that closure, and it sounds insensitive to do it remotely, but if that's all they got, apparently it's enough for some people. As a tech guy, I'd be honoured to assist in setting something like that up for someone. Only, I don't do social media, so I'd need them to set up the Twitch/whatever account, and then I should be able to handle things from there (run cameras, moderate comments, etc.). Also DJ the event if they want live music (some do, some don't — some people will just put on a playlist).

unfortunately for us, she had a bubbly personality that led her to being well liked by everyone she met so we were also not in a position to afford that many guests either.
Pffft, if he was there in person he could have pretended to trip and fall while approaching her, and then got a look and possibly a smell of those feet from inches away instead of taking a fuzzy 720p stream and zooming in until it's potato quality.
Big brain? No. Big fail. Didn't even mumble a "sorry for your loss" from the floor.
Far too many men are far too thirsty for their own good.
Now granted, I have been off the dating field for three-plus decades, now. But I clearly remember how my gonads made me one dumb and desperate mf. And plenty of guys never grow out of that phase in the first place.
Except from what I have seen, most guys are like this well into their older years. Like, fifty-plus and even seventy-plus.
It’s only a minority of men who get a solid grip on their drives and crank them down to where they don’t do or say spontaneously stupid shit. A healthy minority, fine. But still a minority.
Honestly, if someone made a pill that could switch off all of those thought-nerfing impulses - in ways that don’t negatively affect mental, physical, or sexual development - we should be handing it out like candy to all guys who haven’t yet gotten married. Not only would it crater the unwanted pregnancy rate, but it would also likely crater the rate of unwise marriages, and therefore, first divorces.
Downside: the rate of beta orbiters, and consequently, the amount of attention/money/resources women get, would also crater, due to women’s ability to manipulate men for their own benefit being absolutely nerfed to oblivion. There would likely be riots in the streets and clinics being burned down to re-establish all of those patriarchal benefits. I mean, women are already pulling out the social shaming with all of those wildly-unironic, double-bind “where are all the good men?” TikToks, but this would dial up that existential panic to society-wide levels.
