Do people need to do something to get ready for it? Gotta admit, I kinda do nothing and fall shows up every year and I've survived it every time so far.
Sounds like you've been lucky so far. My friend's aunt's niece's coworker's unborn child's boyfriend died because they hadn't prepared enough. Took them by complete surprise and they hadn't stocked up on your average "fall" necesities.
