Newbie question: how long are you guys seeing "Subscribe Pending" when you try to subscribe to communities in other instances?

Just trying to figure out if I'm doing something wrong. Subs to local communities are instant, but when I add stuff from others (e.g. lemmy.ml), it just says it's "pending" for days.

It's a known bug that is to be eliminated with upcoming versions.

You're actually subscribed, it's just a visual effect.

Thanks, thought as much, as I have been able to post content to all the communities concerned

Yeah, I'm seeing this with a few subs, no real pattern either, I have a couple of kbin magazines where my subscription has gone through, and a few communities on other instances where my sub has gone through

I have this issue too.

Around 3 ~4 days'ish.

So... On my end. Originating from the lemmy.ml instance, I have at most like a few minutes of "pending".

Since I’ve created my account. I believe it’s a Lemmy bug, you should still see the communities appear in your main feed.

Same. Though the feed seems to update with the new subscriptions instantly, so I'm not sure what the difference is.
