Your best bet is to rely on a minimal/baremetal install and set up the things yourself -- which is as easy as "sudo apt install thingsyouneed" and "cp -r /backup/directory/* ~/.".
As a fellow "nazi" (read: Right-winger)... this is possibly the worst distro intro I ever seen in my entire life. Makes it look like it has been coded by 12 year olds.
How does using a distro amplifies and/or enhances fascism in any way? That makes zero sense.
And before you say, "because the one who made it is fascist" -- that'd make even less sense.
Uh...what? I'm typing this on my orange pi 5 max and it took me like a single "sudo apt install" to download everything I needed. Where the finishing touch was a single bash script that I've got. Then, everything "just werked". Judging from your experience however, seems like you haven't properly enabled hardware acceleration on it -- therefore the (un)necessary hassle you've been having.
I managed to do some cloud gaming on a 1Gb ram device, so I'd say go with whatever suits you best. Unless you really, REALLY need to browse lemmy on a 4k res. Then 16Gb ram is the bare minimum.
I'm typing this on a minimal installation, and the ram usage is exactly at 1.4Gb. There's only brave + a lousy terminal running on the background. (Browser ram usage should be around the 1.2Gb mark btw.)
Not related to piracy at all, but I've managed to play some old games like "Max Payne" butter smooth on a orange pi 5 max. Considering your main concern of linux able to run windows software.

Does OP has been banned simply for being a right-winger?
Welp. We reddit now.
Have you tried not considering "giving attention" as something essential/mandatory?

Your best bet is to set up bash scripts instead that downloads packages and copies/compiles every single thing you need. Then send em to gitlab.
t. That is what I do.
Yep, it is.
Eh, it's just a seagull casually yapping here and there -- no 3d models or anything. I'm too much of a pleb (yet) for that.

Indeed -- downvotes has no purpose other than self-validation needs.
I've been running nothing than sway after doing a quick test on my rpi 4, running doom 3 -- and the performance difference was really significant.

The game has a github link: https://github.com/nicolasbize/roadkill Or you can play it on your browser instead: https://gadgaming.itch.io/roadkill
It is. I managed to compile it and run natively on a orange pi 5 max. And the 64x64 canvas is extended so it fits the entire screen.
Why on earth you are still relying on 30+ year old CPU's? Are you a supermarket owner on a third world country?

"Now with more telemetry and spyware!". Nah, I'd rather play xcloud on my browser instead.

Oh boy, it's happening.
