The civilians who died didn't provoke it. The increasingly fascist government of Israel aren't exactly innocent though. That said, there have been many festivals and concerts attacked by terrorists in the past, and many more where crowd swells have killed a ton of people. The meme isn't even accurate on that level.

It's not really to context, of course. Israel is commiting genocide in Gaza.
But I don't think there a good context in slaughtering 200+ civilians
