Patatje oorlog + kikastick. "Patatje oorlog" literally means "fries war" but it's just fries with mayonnaise and peanut sauce. I get a veggie on Italian herb bread, toasted with whatever cheese option sounds the least fake. I ask for all the veggies except pickles and maybe jalapenos depending on if I'm sharing, and the house sauce with added pepper.
I know people that get one or two things on their sandwich only, but at that point I'm not sure why you would pay somebody else to make it.
Wendy's used to be the best. But they've raised the price and cut the size in pretty much half. Not worth it anymore. The Members Mark frozen spicy chicken filets at Sam's Club are a great replacement in the air fryer.
I used to go often, but one time I went with my younger brother and I ended up paying almost $30 for the both of us and at that point I would rather go to a nicer local restaurant if imma pay $15/person

Sliders are White Castle burgers, kinda like Krystal if you have those, they're small and square. Impossible is a brand of vegetarian meat substitute, Burger King has an Impossible Whopper that's pretty good too.
i notice plenty of redditers routinely slam subway, but there's two orders i regularly get that i find delicious, nutritious, low-cal, and reasonably-priced--
first is a six inch italian herb roll with ham, turkey, all veggies, and chipotle dressing on the side for six bucks. i bring it home, toast it two mins a side in my air fryer, then sprinkle on red pepper flakes and add the dressing.
second is a salad with bbq chicken on top for about 9 bucks. i bring it home, hit it with some ghost pepper dressing and some grated parm. perfect.
not totally sure, but i get the sense that people typically compare subway to deli-style sandwiches, and that's just not their strength, especially for meat and cheese eaters. subway is really more like vegetarian-style food with a little 'cheat meat' on top, and you can pretty much have them add unlimited veggies if you want for no extra charge.
Taco Bell - The cheesy gordita crunch is a staple. Used to be I'd get the quesarito each time as well but that's gone now. Their newish Steak grilled cheese burrito is good as well.
McDonalds - Big Mac is all well and good but if you order in person you can ask them to add Mac Sauce to the other burgers and sandwiches. So a couple McDoubles with Mac sauce is basically a cheaper Big Mac without the excessive Lettuce and without the middle bun.
Wendy's - Spicy chicken sandwich (the old style one)
Burger King - I like the Big King, otherwise it's whatever I feel like at the time.
Most of the other places I'll just order depending on how I feel as well.
Flying Dutchman on top of animal fries is my In-N-Out combo; I like to top the animal fries with the double patty and cheese and make french fry nachos.
Writing this out is revealing to me that I probably order too much fast food. 🙈
A&W, when I can make it there: Beyond Meat Teen Burger with fries and a root beer
Harvey's (tied with A&W for Canada's best ff chain IMO): Original Burger with cheese, or Impossible Burger. Both are great!

Now that I no longer live close to those chains, it's basically just McDonald's when I want fast food. I typically get the 10 piece McNuggets with fries combo, and I give my spouse the pop :)
When I go to Waffle House, I start off with a pecan waffle then move onto a cheese steak hash brown bowl with double cheese steak and no onions.
From taco bell I always get two cheesy bean and rice burritos, supreme soft taco, and a another random burrito or something that looks good. I also always get the box combo with the cheese fries
Cajun chicken filet biscuit with sweet tea and seasoned fries, or barbecue chicken sandwich with hushpuppies, fries, and a sweet tea, depending on which regional chain I've stopped at

Mushroom and swiss burger and a large curly fry.
