First night at his new forever home

Three years old and the most gentle, affectionate little one I've ever met. Love him like mad already. Still haven't got a name, though

you know the cat's not going anywhere when they're grumpy about being woken up.

"hoooman. leave me alone. I've not napped in ages. I'm trying to catch up on them."

Funny enough, this guy loves belly rubs, even at the shelter! That's kind of why we brought him home, he just seemed extraordinarily affectionate. Got five belly rubs last night, each more wonderful than the last <3

Some cats just love it. I adopted a 2.5 year old cat from a shelter almost a year ago and he's also super gentle and affectionate and looooves belly rubs. My other cat likes it too but only allows it for about 10 seconds lol

He looks just like my cat, who we named Snuggles. Snuggles turned out to be a complete (lovable) menace, who does not like to snuggle, and has very sharp claws and a very short fuse. So as yours is lovely, I recommend the name "Menace" for him to balance the universe.

The coloring on the back haunch looks like a hamburger patty, so I would go with "Burger".

What breed is it? We've adopted a cat that looks almost identical and the vet lumped it under American Short Hair.

Awww... That's the temperament of this guy, too. I fell asleep with him cuddled against my chest, all purrs, no hesitations or reservations just pure love from the jump <3
