In case all of the people pointing out that it's a baby musk ox rather than bison feel cheated, here's some bison baby pics:

Thank you for your service. These are indeed very cute.

Very much my pleasure 😁

Also, they are called Red dogs due to the red fur

MonkderZweite@feddit.ch · 4 pts · 2y

They look much more like ox than the ox.

It's a baby musk ox tho!

WhiskyTangoFoxtrot@lemmy.world · 1 pts · 2y

You can tell because it's not very dirty.

Sure, they're cute now, but when they get bigger people don't want them around anymore, and suddenly you've got a Sewer Bison problem.

That's a baby muskox, not bison. Young bison are hazel coloured.

The blur in the picture means I can't tell if the calf is 5 centimetres or 3 metres long.

He's so adorable

WhiskyTangoFoxtrot@lemmy.world · 3 pts · 2y

Only in English-speaking territories. In Japan he's Vega.

Very cute, but I need a banana for scale.

There are no baby pigeons. Convince me otherwise.

hactar42@lemmy.world · 5 pts · 2y

They are only considering babies while still on the assembly line. Once they are fully assembled they are adults.

Baby bison and baby rhinos have the same energy

JoeKis@lemmy.world · 4 pts · 2y

Nanomerce@lemmy.world · 4 pts · 2y

I love that like all animals have that thin fuzzy fuzz when they are young.

Lophostemon@aussie.zone · 3 pts · 2y
