Another good tip I received was to get them something new for the plane. When I had to fly with my son I got him a new game for his switch and waited to give it to him until after we boarded the plane. That way there was something fresh and new to keep his attention.
I randomly will just start walking as strangely as I can. Lifting my knees really high, shuffling side to side, you know the typical goofy stuff. Then when my daughter inevitably asks what I'm doing, I just proclaim this is how I walk now. Guaranteed eye rolls from her and my wife.
Sounds to me like CBS wanted to move on anyway and is just using this as a convenient excuse. Not that I'm defending Romo, but let's be honest many TV personalities do much worse things and are welcomed back with open arms.
Hey fellow chair repairing brother. I just recently had one of the back supports break on my chair. One mending plate, two screws, and a little hammer into shape and I'm back up and sitting.
You totally nailed the live action Avatar feel. We were half way through one episode and she decided to just go to bed. When I went to stop the episode she told me, "you can keep watching, I saw the cartoon".
See liked Teen Titans Go when she was little. It was the right level of silly when she was like 5-6. I'll have to the no Go one a shot. I'll check out the others too, thanks!
I'm torn on Korra. I really liked the first season, but I remember it going downhill. I remember the season with Henry Rollins being really dark. Like the whole choking people thing seemed a little much for nickelodeon. That and my wife is still mad about Korra breaking the connection with the past Avatars. I guess I'll leave it up to my daughter if she wants to watch it.
I've seen Full Metal Alchemist suggested a few times. I'll definitely be checking that out.
I still need to get to watching the new season of Scrubs and Malcom too. I cancelled Hulu because fuck Disney, so I guess 🏴☠️
My wife used to work for a vet and we had a dog name Stoli. On her paperwork work it always listed "Stolichnaya Shithead OurLastName". It always cracked me up.
Am I the only one who misses stand-alone superhero movies?
It feels like we've gone past the point that a casual fan can know what the hell is going on and who half the characters are. This is the same crap they did with their comics. You needed to read so many back issues and crossovers that it seemed like more work than it was worth.
I started season 2 of the live action Avatar. I'm only two episodes in, but I'm already finding it more enjoyable than season 1. That might be because of Toph
If it sinks it's a witch
Let's just ignore the fact that DFW Airport has 5 chapels. Greg Abbott is a little piss baby.
Got excited to see Colin from Canada is back, but then I saw Josh Robert Thompson is back...again.
Says piss baby Abbott while doing exactly that. What a fucking joke.
I never finished the first season. I hope it pulls a Park and Recs and stops trying to be a spin-off and do its own thing

You basically listed my wife and my favorite shows, and a few new ones too. Thanks!
I've seen those characters but never actually watched an episode. I'll give it a shot, thanks

FYI, the middle name was pronounced Shi-Thead
Doom - other than the 5 minute FPS sequence, I don't remember a single thing about that movie other than being bored out of my mind watching it

It only gets better as the show goes on. I've watched it all the way through at least 3 times. Enjoy!
Well they certainly couldn't let Paramount reboot Friday the 13th without bringing Freddy back too
