Does anyone know a good email provider that doesn’t do any of the phone number verification nonsense?

Have you tried signing up recently? It asked me for a phone number when I did.

I think its possible to leave it empty, but they really try to hide the option

Turn on Google passkey option if your phone supports it.

LPT: Stop using recovery phone numbers if OTPs or U2Fs are an option. Way too easy to fall victim to a sim swap scenario.
