How can you find out who hosts a particular instance? I’ve been loving Kbin but have no idea who started it!

I would ideally like to follow their profile and see about future updates.

I donate $5 every time I get paid (weekly). It's worth it. I'm only on disability, but I like to donate to worthy causes. I also donate to a lot of animal sanctuaries.

I think normally: https://kbin.social/about
Replace the domain with the instance you're on, for example: https://fedia.io/about

Go to any remote magazine. (if you know no one, go to Magazines, to the last page and click on any on them) Because of a bug, every remote magazine (which "may be incomplete") are listed as owned by instance host.

Yeah, for a while I thought @ernest was some kind of fediverse Gallowboob

Gallowboob and his ilk are yet another thing I absolutely won't miss about Reddit.

Just search on the magazine page for '@' and almost all of it will be remote magazines.
