And yet, judging by the casualties the IDF are taking every day, the military capacity of Hamas and other militants does not appear to be diminished.

It's almost as if turning Gaza into Stalingrad is not such a great idea.

Nope. They're pretending it's a lot lower than it really is like the Russians are in Ukraine to save face.
