Yeah, mine is a folding one, all aluminum, so no need to replace the deck either. I'm using it to haul something for the first time today since getting it. 🙂
I've run libreelec for years now with a flirc and connecting to Jellyfin. It is an awesome interface and certainly has the wife approval factor. Never tried Plasma Big Screen, so can't comment on that.
I bought a trailer a while back. I always wanted a truck for the utility of it but they are so expensive! I would only need it a couple of times a year. A trailer is an awesome investment that can last many vehicles.
I worked at a grocery store in the late 80s. It was not common to return your cart at that time. I think it is generally a good thing that society has moved to the expectation that you should return your cart. Most places where I live do not have the coin for a cart but one place does. Living without the coin for a cart is a fair trade for returning the cart to the corral, in my opinion.
I generally agree that the world would be a better place without them but there are cases of genius advertisers. The KFC team on Twitter, for example, who followed only 11 other accounts, the 5 spice girls and 6 random dudes named herb.
Canadian here... I had a boss who was American. He would often talk about how the American system was so much better then the Canadian system. This upset me but luckily I could go to the hospital and get my feelings checked for free.
Oh, and we had a cat that would jump from my wife to me and back again in the middle of the night. Nothing quite like having a 20 pound cat drop onto you I'm the middle of a dead sleep.
4 dogs here. 2 little ones and 2 big ones. The biggest sleeps between my wife and I, sometimes even sleeps sideways, taking up most of the bed. The second biggest usually sleeps in the floor. The second smallest usually sleeps next to my legs on the outside of the bed. The smallest sleeps between our pillows.
It's not uncommon for me to struggle to turn over in the middle of the night because I'm sandwiched into the bed.
Maybe surprisingly an 8. I got laid off a couple of days ago. This is the first time in my adult life I've been unemployed. 25 years at the organization I just left. For the last couple of years, the place hadn't really valued me.
I have a good severance package, so that is a big help. I was intending to enjoy a bit of time off unless something dropped into my lap. Well, a very attractive position has come up and I think I am well suited for it. It's looking like something is dropping in my lap. 😊
