My Linux journey began with Fedora before I transitioned to Manjaro. Following the issues there, I switched to Debian, though I eventually moved on due to its slow update cycle in favor of openSUSE. I’ve now settled on CachyOS, and I couldn't be happier. It is exceptionally stable, benefits from timely Arch-based updates, and performs incredibly fast. Ironically, even though I'm not a gamer, I find that CachyOS simply makes everything work perfectly.
I have used almost all the Lemmy apps from sync, boost, eternity, connect, Voyager, thunder, raccoon and summit. But I feel I prefer an ad free experience and from all these I just mentioned, I believe eternity meets my requirements.
I don't understand the smoothness people are talking about because almost all the apps are smooth to you and be customized to fit your needs.
I've experimented with numerous apps for Lemmy, but Boost for Lemmy has become my go-to choice. It truly has everything I need and is incredibly user-friendly—it's the full package. While I’ve noticed it hasn’t received updates in a while, there’s no reason to fix what isn’t broken. I’ve also tried Voyager, Sync, Thunder, Eternity, and Connect, but none of them have convinced me to switch from Boost.
I I believe Linux appeals to a specific group of users. Personally, I rely heavily on Microsoft Office. Unfortunately, LibreOffice and OpenOffice don't meet my needs because they often alter document formats when I share files across different platforms.
So why is this news coming out now? We are good without flouride .

It's true but a huge majority tends to get lost in pornography.

I can't afford a broken system anytime and that's why i can't use linux. It breaks when you least expect.
What's the name of your community? I don't believe Lemmy needs bots like cooperate reddit does
Privacy and not too good autocorrect issues
